Kutztown University unveiled a new high-powered microscope,at Boehm Science Center, Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019. Officials with KU said the electron scanning microscope, and its new lab, will increase the quality of research available to students.The  microscope is similar to the ones you may have used in high school - just a lot  more powerful. It has the ability to help researchers date an object by showing its composition. It will be used by many departments including the geology, biology and art departments.The microscope was donated by Fred and Martha Hafer.
